The Study Abroad Advisor plays a vital role in assisting and helping students who want to study abroad with their easy or hassle-free visa application or paperwork processing. A consultant’s responsibility is to work and coordinate with the student and the university to obtain their acceptance and to answer any questions or doubts they may have about studying abroad.

Job Description:

- Assisting students from start to end of the entire admission process and providing a fair and neutral evaluation of a candidate’s profile.




- The overseas education adviser will first assess the student’s profile before recommending the best programme options and other jobs suitable for a career;
- Providing information about the various international colleges and universities and advising them about various requirements.
- Providing students with the most up-to-date knowledge and information about universities.
- Responsible for guiding the students regarding their overseas career decisions and helping them understand their potential and help to pursue their goals.
- The advisor shall assist students in choosing the appropriate university along with the program courses (Subjects) that has global recognition and offers valuable education so that a student can take a fair decision to enroll with the University;
- Helping the students understand their skill sets and provide those ways to utilize it.
- Interview and Preparing students to ensure that he/she is eligible to apply for application
- Consultants will have to assist students in completing admission forms and preparing financial documentation;
- The consultant will convey the requirement of the shortlisted documents to the students to collect and assemble each document beforehand and take care of the financial aid process, considering every aspect of the students;




- The advisor will educate the student about education loans and assist them in obtaining loans and financial aid.
- Understanding the extent of students’ study fields and being aware of the actual professional aim driving their decision to study abroad;
- Need to assist students to prepare an excellent, honest, appealing SOP;
- Once the university enrolls or sends an acceptance letter to the student, the consultant will still provide the assistance needed like accommodation, lifestyle and managing finances, etc.
- Pre-departure counseling to ensure student expectations are commensurate with reality.
- Delivery of outstanding client service which is paramount to not only the success of a case but is intrinsic to the culture and values of VIAVIA.
- Achieve excellent customer service by proactively responding to client queries and advising customers on their overseas immigration and visa needs.
