Motherhood Hospital is a leading women and child care healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional maternity, neonatal, and pediatric services. We are looking for compassionate and skilled LDR Staff Nurses to join our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal mothers.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labour using appropriate assessment techniques.
- Assist obstetricians during normal and assisted deliveries.
- Prepare labour rooms and ensure all equipment and emergency supplies are readily available.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the consultant.
- Monitor labour progress and accurately document patient observations.
- Assist in emergency obstetric procedures, including Caesarean sections and postpartum emergencies.
- Provide immediate newborn care until the baby is handed over to the neonatal team.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, hygiene, and postpartum recovery.
- Maintain infection prevention and control protocols.
- Ensure accurate nursing documentation and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate with consultants, pediatricians, anesthetists,



and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond promptly to maternal and neonatal emergencies.

Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.

Experience

- Minimum 0.6–10years of experience in Labour Delivery Recovery (LDR)/Labour Ward.
- Experience in women's and child healthcare or maternity hospitals is preferred.

- Labour monitoring and fetal assessment.
- Normal vaginal delivery assistance.
- Maternal and newborn care.
- CTG (Cardiotocography) monitoring.
- Emergency obstetric care.
- Neonatal resuscitation assistance.
- IV cannulation and medication administration.
- Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
- Teamwork and critical thinking.

Preferred Certifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (Preferred)
