The Opportunity

Kalyani Ventures Limited is seeking a senior logistics leader to head its railway rake operations across large-scale industrial and bulk logistics projects. This role goes beyond execution—it requires strategic oversight, cost optimization, and stakeholder influence to drive efficiency across complex, multi-location operations.

If you have built your career managing high-volume rail logistics, dealing with Indian Railways at a senior level, and driving operational excellence in bulk commodity movement, this role offers you the platform to make a tangible business impact.

Your Mandate

You will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of rake logistics, ensuring seamless coordination between railways, plant operations, commercial teams, and external stakeholders.

- Drive strategic planning and execution of rake movement across locations
- Build strong working relationships with Indian Railways, siding authorities, and regulatory bodies
- Optimize freight cost, turnaround time, detention & demurrage
- Lead multi-site logistics operations for inbound and outbound bulk materials
- Ensure compliance, documentation integrity, and operational governance
- Develop vendor ecosystems and transporter networks for scalable operations
- Drive data-led decision-making through MIS, analytics,



and performance dashboards

What We Are Looking For

- 10–18 years of experience in railway freight / rake logistics / bulk operations
- Deep understanding of Indian Railways processes, documentation, and coordination frameworks
- Proven track record in handling bulk commodities (coal, iron ore, cement, steel, etc.)
- Strong exposure to industrial environments—mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, or logistics
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and influence outcomes

- Strong commercial acumen and cost optimization mindset
- Hands-on yet strategic—comfortable being both on-ground and in boardroom discussions

Compensation:

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
