Job Description

- Implement and monitor infection prevention and control policies in the hospital.

- Conduct infection surveillance and track hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).

- Train and educate hospital staff on infection control practices and protocols.

- Ensure proper hand hygiene, sterilization, and sanitation procedures are followed.

- Monitor the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by healthcare staff.

- Conduct infection control audits and inspections across departments.

- Investigate and report infection outbreaks or unusual infection trends.

- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and housekeeping to maintain infection control standards.

- Maintain infection control records, reports, and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and regulatory standards
