Location: Hyderabad

Position : 2 nos – Senior executive (5-9LPA) and Purchase manager (7-12LPA)

As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and forge strategic partnerships within the defence and aerospace electronics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Planning & Execution

- Develop and execute procurement strategies for electronic, RF, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components, sub-systems, and assemblies.
- Review project BOMs and coordinate with Design, Production, and QA teams to finalize material specifications and procurement plans.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet project schedules and delivery milestones.

2. Vendor Management & Development

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for electronics, machining, fabrication, and COTS/MIL-grade components.
- Develop and maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL) in line with company and Defence quality standards (e.g., AS9100, DGAQA, CEMILAC).
- Conduct vendor audits for quality, reliability, and delivery performance.

3. Costing & Negotiation

- Obtain competitive quotations and perform techno-commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to optimize cost without compromising quality.
- Monitor market trends for components and raw materials to forecast price movements.

4. Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure procurement processes comply with Defence procurement norms, NDA agreements, and traceability requirements.
- Maintain complete documentation – Purchase Orders (POs), supplier certifications, inspection reports, and batch traceability records.
- Coordinate with Finance for vendor payments, advances,



and statutory compliance (GST, MSME, etc.).

5. Coordination & Communication

- Liaise closely with the Engineering, Production, and Quality Assurance teams for material technical clarifications and substitutions.
- Interface with customers, project management teams, and OEM partners for material clearances and export/import requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics for customs clearance, shipping, and delivery follow-up.

6. Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization

- Collaborate with the Stores and Planning teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop long-term sourcing strategies and annual rate contracts for key items.
- Implement vendor-managed inventory (VMI) or just-in-time (JIT) supply where feasible.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 5–12 years of experience in procurement within Electronics, Defence, or Aerospace sectors.
- Experience in sourcing MIL-grade / industrial-grade components, connectors, cables, RF parts, and machined items.
- Knowledge of Defence QA systems (DGAQA, DRDO, DGQA) and AS9100 / ISO 9001 procedures.
- Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems (SAP / Odoo / Tally ERP).
- Understanding of import/export procedures, HS codes, and customs documentation preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Sound technical understanding of electronics and mechanical components.
- Excellent vendor management and relationship-building skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling Defence procurement data.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.

Performance Indicators:

- On-time procurement vs. project schedules.
- Cost savings achieved through negotiation and vendor development.
- Supplier delivery and quality performance metrics.
- Compliance with documentation and audit standards.
- Inventory turnover and material availability rates.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
