Role Overview:

TREEI Foundation is seeking a Social Media & AI Content Strategist responsible for building impactful digital narratives, strengthening online communities, and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance content strategy and execution.

This role focuses on social media ownership, strategic storytelling, AI-enabled content creation, and performance-driven growth, ensuring the organisation’s work reaches wider audiences and drives meaningful engagement.

The Social Media & AI Content Strategist will work at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and technology to transform on-ground social and environmental impact into compelling digital presence.

Work Location & Field Engagement:

This is a hybrid role requiring active involvement in both strategic planning and content execution. The Social Media & AI Content Strategist will manage TREEI Foundation’s digital ecosystem while collaborating with internal teams, field projects, and creative partners.

Digital engagement responsibilities include:

- Managing and growing Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital platforms
- Translating field impact into engaging social narratives
- Building responsive online communities
- Experimenting with AI tools to improve content quality, speed, and innovation
- Coordinating with designers, editors, and project teams for execution

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Ownership:

- Take charge of TREEI Foundation’s social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
- Plan, schedule, and execute consistent content calendars




- Build and nurture an active digital community
- Ensure platform growth through audience engagement and responsiveness

Strategic Thinking & Campaign Development:

- Design campaigns, storytelling formats, and digital awareness journeys
- Translate social, environmental, and grassroots impact into compelling narratives
- Build structured content funnels from awareness to engagement to action
- Develop innovative content series aligned with organisational goals

AI-Powered Content Creation:

- Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI, and similar platforms
- Create captions, scripts, reels concepts, and campaign ideas efficiently
- Experiment with AI to improve productivity, creativity, and storytelling outcomes
- Build scalable systems for faster content generation

Creative Execution:

- Develop reels, carousels, short-form videos, and storytelling assets
- Explore faceless content, trends, and creative formats
- Coordinate with graphic designers, editors, and media teams
- Ensure content quality, creativity, and relevance

Performance Monitoring & Growth:

- Track reach, engagement, audience behavior, and campaign performance
- Identify successful strategies and optimize underperforming areas
- Use analytics insights to continuously improve content effectiveness
- Support long-term brand visibility and digital growth





Educational Background:

Candidates with the following educational backgrounds will be preferred:

- Marketing / Digital Media / Mass Communication
- Journalism / Branding / Advertising
- Sustainability / Development Communication
- Business / Strategy
- Other interdisciplinary qualifications relevant to digital growth and storytelling

Required Experience:

- 1.5–3 years of experience in social media growth, digital marketing, or content strategy
- Experience in AI-assisted content creation and digital campaigns preferred
- NGO, CSR, sustainability, or impact-sector experience will be an added advantage

Compensation:

CTC: ₹3.2 LPA – ₹4.05 LPA (based on experience, creativity, and suitability)

Important Note:

This role is ideal for individuals who focus on creating meaningful impact rather than simply posting content.

Candidates should be comfortable blending strategy, creativity, and AI tools while taking ownership from ideation to execution.

Applicants seeking purely operational social media posting roles may not find this position suitable.

Pay: ₹320,000.00 - ₹405,000.00 per year
