Position: Junior Accountant / Accounts Executive

Location: Manjeri, Kerala

Experience: 6 months – 1 year

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant / Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1 year of accounting experience and a good understanding of GST compliance and day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts.
- Prepare and record journal entries, receipts, and payments.
- Handle GST-related activities, including invoice verification and GST return preparation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing activities.




- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and auditors whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting.
- Good knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of TDS and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
