Dr. Aravind's IVF Fertility and Pregnancy Centre is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room (OT) Technician to join our team. The OT Technician will play a vital role in supporting our fertility and pregnancy procedures by preparing and maintaining the operating room, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring a sterile and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fertility or surgical setting, solid attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and Sterilization:
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment specific to IVF and fertility procedures.
- Set up the operating room with necessary tools, supplies, and equipment before procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols and infection control practices.
- Assisting the Surgical Team:
- Assist reproductive endocrinologists and surgical staff by providing instruments and supplies during IVF and other fertility procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures to prevent contamination.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
- Instrument Handling:




- Handle and pass specialized IVF instruments and tools to the surgical team as needed.
- Ensure accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to prevent retention.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Document details of the procedure, including instruments used, patient information, and any complications.
- Maintain precise records of surgical counts and related activities.
- Clean-Up and Post-Operation Duties:
- Clean and disinfect the operating room and associated areas after each procedure.
- Sterilize and store instruments and equipment properly.
- Dispose of waste materials following infection control standards.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with advancements in IVF techniques and technology.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- B.Sc OT, Diploma in OT
