About the Role

At Coco Lagoon by Great Mount, a Reservation Curator is more than a reservations executive. The role is that of a hospitality consultant and guest experience specialist who guides every prospective guest from their first enquiry to a confirmed reservation while ensuring a seamless and personalized booking experience.

Based at our Coimbatore Corporate Office, the Reservation Curator is responsible for managing reservations for our luxury resort in Pollachi through telephone, email, WhatsApp, website enquiries, travel partners, OTAs, and corporate clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Enquiries & Reservations

- Respond promptly to all telephone, email, website, WhatsApp, social media, and OTA enquiries.
- Understand guest requirements and recommend the most suitable room category and package.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed reservations through professional sales conversations.
- Provide accurate information on accommodation, dining, activities, events, and resort facilities.
- Upsell premium room categories, experiences, celebrations, and special packages.
- Maintain high standards of communication reflecting the Coco Lagoon brand.

Reservation Management

- Process reservations accurately in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Ensure room inventory is updated correctly across all booking channels.
- Verify guest details, payment terms, special requests, and arrival information.
- Coordinate modifications, cancellations, date changes, and refunds as per resort policy.
- Monitor waitlists and maximize occupancy opportunities.

Guest Experience Coordination

- Record guest preferences and special occasions.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, Activities, and Transport teams for seamless guest arrivals.
- Ensure VIP guests and repeat guests receive personalized attention.




- Share arrival forecasts and guest requirements with operational departments.

Proposal & Corporate Sales Support

- Prepare professional quotations and proposals for:
- Weddings
- Conferences
- Corporate Retreats
- Day Out Programmes
- Group Bookings
- Celebrations
- Follow up on pending proposals and convert them into confirmed business.

OTA & Distribution Support

- Manage bookings received through Online Travel Agencies.
- Ensure rate parity and inventory accuracy.
- Monitor reservation quality and booking details.
- Coordinate with revenue management for inventory optimization.

Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain complete and accurate guest records.
- Update CRM systems with enquiry status and follow-up activities.
- Conduct timely follow-ups on pending enquiries.
- Build long-term guest relationships to encourage repeat visits.

Revenue & Sales Responsibilities

- Achieve enquiry-to-booking conversion targets.
- Maximize room revenue through effective upselling.
- Promote value-added services and resort experiences.
- Support occupancy and revenue goals during peak and off-peak periods.

Reporting

Prepare and maintain:

- Daily reservation reports
- Occupancy forecasts
- Lead conversion reports
- OTA booking reports
- Proposal status reports
- Cancellation analysis
- Revenue contribution reports
- Guest enquiry analytics

Candidate ProfileEducation

- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or Business Administration.

Experience

- 2–6 years in hotel reservations, front office, sales, or guest relations.
- Luxury resort or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience with PMS and OTA platforms is an advantage.
