We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our solar energy team in Idukki. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, promoting solar energy solutions, conducting customer site visits, and providing technical guidance throughout the sales process. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy both technical problem-solving and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
- Conduct customer meetings and site visits to assess energy requirements.
- Recommend suitable on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and project cost estimates.
- Explain the technical and financial advantages of solar systems, including energy savings and return on investment (ROI).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and channel partners.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on solar technology, government policies, and market trends.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in solar, electrical, or renewable energy.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, net metering, and electrical concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Idukki district for customer visits and site surveys.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
