Job Summary:

The Machine Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC and VMC machines to ensure maximum machine availability, productivity, and safety. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues while maintaining maintenance records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC and VMC machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, and spindle-related issues.
- Carry out machine alignment, leveling, calibration, and accuracy checks.
- Inspect and maintain lubrication systems, coolant systems, hydraulic power packs, and pneumatic circuits.
- Troubleshoot CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, or equivalent.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Plan and execute annual maintenance schedules.
- Maintain machine history cards, preventive maintenance checklists, and maintenance records.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability.
- Manage machine spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, TPM, 5S, ISO, and company maintenance procedures.
- Assist during machine installation, commissioning, relocation, and acceptance trials.




- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Train machine operators on basic autonomous maintenance practices.

Required Skills Technical Skills:

- Maintenance of CNC Turning Centers, VMCs, and HMCs.
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, or similar CNC controls.
- Reading electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
- Servo motors, spindle systems, ball screws, linear guideways, ATC mechanisms, and lubrication systems.
- PLC troubleshooting (basic to intermediate).
- Use of measuring instruments such as Dial Gauge, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, and Laser Alignment tools.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA), TPM, Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and 5S implementation.

Educational Qualification:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Experience:

- 1–2 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine maintenance in a manufacturing or engineering industry.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
