Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Support & Implementation Engineer with hands-on experience in Hospital Information Systems (HIS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining HIS applications, ensuring smooth operations, effective user support, and coordination with vendors for system enhancements and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide implementation, configuration, and post-go-live support for HIS modules including Registration, Billing, EMR, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Radiology.
- Manage HIS administration and user access, including role-based permissions and user lifecycle management.
- Offer L1/L2 support to end users and resolve application, system, and operational issues within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution, system updates, patches, and integrations.
- Perform basic SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes.
- Support and monitor virtualized environments using VMware / Hyper-V.
- Handle database backups, restoration activities, and ensure data integrity.




- Provide hardware and peripheral support such as printers, scanners, barcode devices, and related configurations.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, data privacy standards, and backup procedures.
- Conduct end-user training, prepare basic documentation, and assist users in effective system usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in HIS support and implementation.
- Robust functional understanding of core HIS modules.
- Experience in HIS administration and user management.
- Working knowledge of SQL / database queries.
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).
- Hands-on experience with database backup and recovery processes.
- Knowledge of IT hardware and healthcare peripherals.
- Awareness of IT security, data protection, and backup practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support end users.

Preferred Skills

- Candidates from Karnataka preferred
- Prior experience working in hospitals or healthcare IT environments.
- Exposure to HIS integrations with third-party systems.
- Willingness to travel within Karnataka, if required
