Job Description:
We are looking for a driven Sales Professional to expand MemoryTrain’s retail presence and build strong distribution channels. This role requires a balance of on-ground hustle and relationship management, with a focus on growing revenue through retail stores, channel partners, and key accounts.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Distribution
- Identify and onboard recent retail outlets, lifestyle stores, and gift shops
- Drive primary and secondary sales across assigned territories
- Ensure consistent product availability across channels
2. Channel Management
- Build and manage distributor and dealer networks
- Maintain strong relationships with channel partners
- Monitor stock movement, reorder cycles, and sales performance
3. Key Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with key retail accounts
- Negotiate placements, visibility, and promotions
- Ensure premium brand representation at all touchpoints
4. Market Development
- Identify new markets and expansion opportunities
- Gather market intelligence and competitor insights
- Work closely with marketing for in-store activations and campaigns
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in retail sales / distribution / channel sales
- Experience in lifestyle, gifting, handicrafts, or premium products is a strong plus
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Self-driven and target-oriented
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in lifestyle / design / premium retail sales
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; Malayalam/Hindi is a plus
- Strong aesthetic sense and appreciation for design & storytelling
- Self-driven, organized, and people-friendly
- Comfortable with travel and on-ground sales
