About the Role

The Better India is looking for a passionate, creative, and growth-oriented Hindi Social Media Manager to lead and scale our Hindi social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital storytelling, audience behavior, platform trends, and content strategy, with the ability to create meaningful impact through engaging Hindi content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Audience Growth

- Identify and leverage trending topics, current affairs, and cultural moments to create timely, high-engagement Hindi content.
- Develop and execute social media strategies that drive organic growth, audience engagement, and brand awareness across platforms.
- Conceptualize and launch new content series, campaigns, and storytelling formats aligned with audience interests and organizational goals.
- Contribute to audience development and community-building initiatives.

Content Planning & Execution

- Plan, manage, and publish high-quality Hindi content across social media platforms.
- Own and achieve weekly and monthly content, reach, engagement, and growth targets.
- Create platform-specific content strategies to maximize performance and audience retention.
- Monitor content performance and use insights to optimize future content planning and execution.

Editorial Excellence & Brand Alignment

- Ensure all content aligns with The Better India's editorial standards, ethics, values, and storytelling principles.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, sensitivity, fact-checking, and audience relevance.




- Uphold and strengthen the brand voice while crafting compelling and impactful narratives.

Innovation & Experimentation

- Proactively identify opportunities to test current content formats, campaigns, and audience engagement strategies.
- Experiment with emerging platform features, trends, and storytelling approaches to improve content performance.
- Take ownership of innovative ideas from ideation through execution, analysis, and optimization.

Collaboration & Performance Reporting

- Work closely with editorial, design, video, and other cross-functional teams to create engaging multimedia content.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics across platforms.
- Prepare regular reports highlighting content performance, key learnings, audience insights, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align content strategies with broader organizational objectives.

What We're Looking For

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, audience behavior, and content trends.
- Excellent Hindi writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience creating and executing social media growth strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action.
