Job description:

We are looking for an "Electrician" experience in AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concreted) Blocks manufacturing plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. Following are the work responsibilities and other descriptions:

Operation & Monitoring

- Operate electrical panels, motors, and control systems for plant machinery.
- Monitor electrical parameters (voltage, current, load, etc.) to ensure smooth operation.
- Assist with Production Team for batchig & cutting works.
- Start and stop motors, conveyors, compressors, and other electrical-driven equipment.

Maintenance & Repairs

- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in motors, starters, VFDs, PLC panels, and wiring.
- Replace defective electrical parts like fuses, contactors, relays, switches, and cables.
- Ensure proper lubrication and servicing of motor connections.

Installation & Commissioning

- Assist in installation of new machinery, control panels, and electrical systems.
- Lay electrical wiring, conduits, and cable trays as per load requirements.
- Connect motors, sensors, and instruments to control systems safely.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow all electrical safety standards and use proper PPE.
- Ensure proper earthing, insulation, and protection of circuits.




- Maintain compliance with statutory rules related to electrical equipment.

Preventive Maintenance Scheduling

- Conduct regular inspection of motors, transformers, DG sets, and control panels.
- Test equipment for insulation resistance, earth leakage, and continuity.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, maintenance, and spare parts usage.

Support to Production & Utilities

- Provide electrical support during batching, cutting, autoclaving, and packing operations.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to boiler, compressor, curing chambers, and cranes.
- Coordinate with production and mechanical teams for smooth operation.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain logbooks for power consumption, downtime, and maintenance work.
- Report major faults and breakdowns to the plant engineer/maintenance head.
- Suggest improvements for reducing breakdowns and improving energy efficiency.
