- Operate LMV vehicles (cars, vans, small trucks, or delivery vehicles) for assigned trips.
- Transport staff, clients, goods, or documents to designated locations on time.
- Plan optimal routes to avoid delays, traffic, and fuel wastage.
- Adhere to all Motor Vehicle Act rules, speed limits, and road safety guidelines.
- Ensure the vehicle is not overloaded and that all loads are securely fastened.
- Maintain a clean driving record and report any accidents or violations immediately.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections (fuel, oil, water, lights, tires, brakes).
- Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the supervisor.
- Keep the vehicle clean, both interior and exterior.
- Schedule timely servicing and renewals (insurance, pollution certificate, fitness).
- Maintain logbooks: trip details, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
- Ensure the LMV license is valid and carry all required documents (RC, insurance, PUC).
- Report any fines or traffic challans to management.
