Role Summary

The Business Development Associate will generate new business opportunities, build relationships with promoters, CFOs, banks, NBFCs and investors, and support the acquisition and successful closure of capital advisory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new mandates for Debt Syndication, Working Capital, Project Finance, Equity Fund Raising and M&A; Advisory.
- Meet promoters, business owners and CFOs to understand funding and strategic requirements.
- Develop relationships with Banks, NBFCs, PE Funds, VC Funds, AIFs, Family Offices and referral partners.
- Present Numbertree Capital's capabilities and convert opportunities into mandates.
- Coordinate with execution teams for documentation, financial information and transaction closure.
- Support preparation of teasers,



information memorandums, pitch books and proposals.
- Maintain CRM and ensure timely follow-up.
- Cross-sell relevant Numbertree Group services.
- Represent Numbertree at industry events and networking forums.
- Achieve agreed business development and revenue targets.

Candidate Profile

- MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CFA Level I or Commerce Graduate.
- 1–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Debt Syndication, Corporate Banking, NBFC or Financial Advisory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Consultative selling mindset and strong commercial acumen.
- Exposure to infrastructure or industrial sectors will be an added advantage.
