CFD Engineer

Flow Science Software Pvt Ltd (Pune) has an immediate opening for a CFD Engineer. The candidate will work as part of a multi-faceted team to expand and support our growing customer base of FLOW-3D in multiple application areas.



The focus of this position is on providing first-rate customer service support and training for our commercial general-purpose CFD software package FLOW-3D and related products. Candidates should have exceptional oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The candidate should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Work Experience

- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Strong fundamentals in fluid dynamics and heat transfer are required.
- Good communication skills
- Valuable organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Principal tasks and responsibilities

- Provide support and guidance to our customers with their complex and challenging 3D simulations in FLOW-3D.
- Develop and deliver training for FLOW-3D to our customers either in-house or on-site.
- Identify appropriate experimental data or analytical solutions and use them to further validate FLOW-3D
- Assist in teaching regular classes on applied CFD to FLOW-3D users
- Develop materials (conference presentations, papers, etc.) and represent Flow Science India at conferences and tradeshows
