Job Summary

The Nursing Intern will work under the supervision of registered nurses and medical professionals to provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. The internship offers hands-on clinical experience in nursing practice, patient care, rehabilitation, and Ayurvedic healthcare services while developing professional skills in a multidisciplinary hospital workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist nursing staff in providing quality patient care in OPD, IPD, and rehabilitation units.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, observations, and nursing assessments.
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Support wound dressing, basic nursing procedures, and infection prevention practices.
- Prepare patients for medical examinations, therapies,



and diagnostic procedures.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate patients and caregivers on personal hygiene, nutrition, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Support Ayurvedic treatment units by assisting with patient preparation and post-treatment care as directed.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, privacy, and dignity at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient care areas and ensure compliance with hospital infection control protocols.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical discussions, training sessions, and continuing education programs.
- Assist during health camps, wellness programs, and community outreach initiatives.
- Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality guidelines.
