Job Description

The Automobile Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and performance of the company’s fleet, including transit mixers, concrete pumps, tippers and other support vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise daily operations of the automobile workshop and manage a team of mechanics and technicians.

· Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance of:

o Transit Mixers

o Concrete Pump Vehicles

o Tippers & Dumpers

· Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to avoid delivery delays.

· Maintain vehicle service records, maintenance logs, and job cards.

· Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Ensure proper utilization of workshop tools, equipment, and manpower.

· Coordinate with plant, dispatch, and operations teams for vehicle availability.





· Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle efficiency, and maintenance costs

Required Qualifications:

· Diploma /Degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

· 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, preferably in RMC / construction / infrastructure industry.

Key Skills

· Strong knowledge of heavy commercial vehicles and hydraulic systems.

· Experience in handling RMC equipment (Transit Mixers, Pumps, etc.).

· Valuable communication and coordination skills.

· Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, word, PowerPoint, maintenance software).

Location: Around Bhubaneswar

Annual CTC: 3,00,000 lacs
