Job Overview:

We are looking for an Account Assistant to join our team to provide support to the finance and accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of accounting entries, working knowledge of accounts, basic knowledge of TDS and GST, and good coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting the finance and accounting department with day-to-day tasks
- Coordinating with reporting manager for financial reports and statements
- Handling accounting entries for purchases, sales, expenses, and revenue
- Maintaining records and filing documents related to accounting transactions
- Preparing bank reconciliations and handling petty cash
- Handling vendor payments, invoices, and account reconciliation




- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Preparing and managing bills and receipts
- Providing administrative support to the finance and accounting department
- Other duties as assigned by the reporting manager

Requirements:

- Good understanding of accounting entries and basic knowledge of TDS and GST
- Clear working knowledge of accounts
- Well-versed with MS Word, MS Excel, and Tally ERP
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Must be a quick learner with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Have ability to learn technologies like artificial intelligence
