Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Costing to oversee Plant Costing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, Product Costing, Cost Analysis, and Management Reporting within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, hands-on factory costing experience, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing cost structures and statutory cost compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain Plant Costing and Product Costing for manufacturing operations.
- Prepare and monitor Cost Sheets, Standard Costing, Actual Costing, and Variance Analysis.
- Ensure accurate Inventory Management, Stock Reconciliation, and inventory valuation.
- Monitor Raw Material Consumption, production costs, and manufacturing overheads to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare Cost MIS Reports, Budget Analysis, profitability reports, and management dashboards.
- Conduct Cost Control, Yield Analysis, and operational efficiency reviews.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Procurement, and Finance teams for accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards, statutory cost records, and internal financial controls.
- Support budgeting,



forecasting, month-end closing activities, and audit requirements.
- Recommend and implement initiatives for Cost Optimization and process improvements.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Plant Costing, Inventory Control, and Standard Costing.
- Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Cost Analysis, Variance Analysis, and Product Costing.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Dashboards, Data Analysis).
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP or any ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Industry

Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Edible Oil, Process Manufacturing, Chemicals, or Engineering.

Candidate Profile

- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Plant/Factory Costing.
- CMA preferred; CMA Inter or CA Inter with relevant experience may also apply.
