Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising execution, ensuring quality, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining project timelines as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and standards.
- Monitor progress of work and ensure adherence to project schedule.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with safety norms at site.
- Check and verify measurements, bills, and material consumption.
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report issues to the Project Manager.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.
- Resolve technical issues arising at site during construction.
- Ensure housekeeping and safety practices are followed at site.

Required Qualifications

- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in construction site supervision (Residential / Commercial projects preferred).

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and drawings.




- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and site reporting.
- Knowledge of quality standards and safety practices.
- Problem-solving ability and decision-making at site.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in high-rise residential or commercial building projects.
- Familiarity with billing, BOQ, and quantity surveying.
- Experience in handling contractors and labor teams.
