Job Summary

The Production (HUSKY) Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring HUSKY injection molding machines to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The role includes machine setup support, process monitoring, quality inspection, troubleshooting, maintaining production records, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate HUSKY injection molding machines as per approved production plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Start, monitor, and stop machines safely while maintaining required production output.
- Perform routine machine checks and ensure smooth machine operation.
- Monitor process parameters and report any abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
- Inspect molded products for quality defects such as flash, short shots, black spots, sink marks, and dimensional variations.
- Segregate defective products and maintain proper rejection records.
- Ensure raw materials are available and feed materials as required.
- Carry out basic machine cleaning and routine preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team in case of machine breakdowns.
- Record production data, machine downtime, rejection, and shift reports accurately.
- Follow production schedules to achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S practices in the production area.




- Comply with all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow company safety procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Plastic Engineering, or a related field.
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass) with relevant machine operating experience may also be considered.

Experience

- 1–5 years of experience operating HUSKY injection molding machines.
- Experience in the plastic packaging or injection molding industry is preferred.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of HUSKY injection molding machine operations.
- Understanding of injection molding processes and product quality requirements.
- Ability to identify basic machine faults and production defects.
- Knowledge of production documentation and shift reporting.
- Basic understanding of safety and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

- Production target achievement.
- Machine uptime and operational efficiency.
- Product quality and rejection percentage.
- Compliance with safety and SOP requirements.
- Accurate production and downtime reporting.
- Housekeeping and 5S compliance.

Working Conditions

- Manufacturing plant environment.
- Rotational shift work, including night shifts as required.
- Standing for extended periods and handling production materials.
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety regulations is mandatory.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
