Venets News (V-News) is a fast-growing digital news platform committed to delivering accurate, timely, and impactful news across India. We are looking for a passionate and creative Camera Operator who can capture high-quality visuals for news coverage, interviews, documentaries, and digital media content.

Key Responsibilities

- Capture high-quality video footage for news reports, interviews, press conferences, and live events.
- Operate professional cameras, tripods, gimbals, and other video production equipment.
- Coordinate with reporters, producers, and editors during field assignments.
- Ensure proper framing, lighting, focus, and audio quality while recording.
- Cover breaking news and outdoor assignments as required.
- Assist in setting up lighting and camera equipment for studio and on-location shoots.
- Maintain and handle camera equipment with care.
- Transfer, organize, and back up recorded footage after each assignment.
- Follow editorial guidelines and production schedules.
- Travel within the city or outside the city whenever required for news coverage.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of DSLR, Mirrorless, ENG, or Professional Broadcast Cameras.
- Understanding of camera angles, composition, lighting, and video storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of audio recording equipment.




- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or extended shifts during major news events.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Film Production, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in news media, television, digital media, or video production.
- Freshers with excellent practical skills may also apply.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in live news coverage.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Drone camera operating experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with social media video production.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience, skills, and interview performance.

Working Hours

- 6 Days a Week
- Flexible shifts based on news assignments.
- Weekly Off as per company policy.
