Job Description:

Purchase Executive – Pharma / Chemical Industry

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a critical role in managing procurement activities for raw materials, intermediates, packaging materials, and services required in the Pharma/Chemical industry. You will ensure timely sourcing while maintaining compliance with quality standards, regulatory norms, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and evaluate vendors for chemicals, solvents, and packaging materials
- Handle procurement in compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety standards
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost optimization
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support production and R&D; schedules
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Production, and Stores for material specifications and approvals




- Monitor supplier performance including quality, delivery timelines, and compliance
- Manage documentation such as COA, MSDS, invoices, and purchase records
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and new material sources
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term procurement strategy

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
- 1–5 years of experience in procurement within Pharma/Chemical industry
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and chemical handling standards
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in SAP ,Pharma cloud systems and procurement tools

Pay: ₹10,763.45 - ₹37,202.88 per month
