JOB PURPOSE:

The Site Supervisor will handle day-to-day field operations, directly managing labor and contractors in office. Site Supervisor will ensure that civil works conform to approved drawings, safety norms, and quality standards while maintaining daily progress logs.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- On-Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities including excavation, foundation work, RCC casting, masonry, and PEB structural erection.
- Labor & Contractor Control: Allocate daily tasks to contractors and laborers, ensuring maximum productivity and discipline on the site.
- Drawing Interpretation: Read blueprints and structural drawings accurately to guide on-site execution teams and prevent rework.
- Material Tracking: Receive incoming construction materials, check quantities against delivery notes, track inventory, and report shortages.
- Quality Assurance:



Conduct basic quality checks on-site (e.g., concrete slump tests, curing monitoring) and report defects to the Project Manager.
- Daily Progress Reporting: Maintain site logbooks, record labor attendance, track machinery usage, and submit daily progress reports (DPR).
- Site Safety Enforcement: Ensure all workers wear mandatory PPE (helmets, jackets, safety shoes) and maintain a clean, hazard-free work zone.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of field experience in industrial or factory construction projects. Greenfield site experience is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read civil, architectural, and structural drawings. Basic knowledge of survey instruments (Auto Level) is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to manage local labor, problem-solving mindset. Good spoken Assamese is desired.

After successfully execution of project, candidate can be retained for regular operational requirement.
