Remote, India Contract 8 - 10 years of Experience

What you'll be doing:

- Lead frontend architecture and system design, integrating seamlessly with backend APIs, design systems, and infrastructure.
- Bring clarity to complex product requirements and bridge the gap between Product, Design, and Engineering to prevent miscommunication before it impacts delivery.
- Work across frontend teams, backend engineers, QA, and mobile to ensure a cohesive and performant user experience across all platforms.
- Understand and reason about the entire web stack—how data travels from the database, over the network, and is rendered by the browser engine.
- Guide decisions on frontend frameworks, state management, API integration (REST/GraphQL), web performance, accessibility, and client-side deployments.
- Review technical designs and code to ensure highly maintainable, scalable, and bug-free UI code in production.
- Act as the ultimate technical authority for the frontend, representing engineering leadership in stakeholder discussions and client calls.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, establishing best practices and elevating frontend engineering quality across all teams.

What we are looking for:

- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a heavy specialization in complex, large-scale frontend systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern framework ecosystems (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, Next.js).
- Experience building enterprise-scale frontend applications from scratch, as well as safely migrating and modernizing legacy UIs.
- A track record of pushing the boundaries of web technologies,



whether through personal side projects, experiments, or deep-dives into UI architecture.
- Deep understanding of browser internals, the DOM, rendering cycles, web security (CORS, XSS), and network protocols (HTTP/2, WebSockets).
- Experience configuring modern frontend build tools (Vite, Webpack) and owning frontend CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and CDN deployments.
- Ability to reason about web performance: Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, caching strategies, and rendering patterns (SSR, SSG, CSR).
- Strong frontend system design skills—from big-picture architecture (like micro-frontends) to low-level state management and component API design.
- Clear communication and the ability to keep multi-team frontend efforts aligned around a single technical vision.

Additional skills to be considered as a plus:

- Full-stack capabilities (Node.js, Go, Python, etc.) or experience designing Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers.
- Applied experience in designing and scaling enterprise Design Systems, component libraries, or internal developer tooling.
- Experience with advanced web technologies like WebGL, WebAssembly, or complex data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
