About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist & Programmer to operate, program, and set up CNC turning and milling machines to produce high-precision components. The role requires hands-on machining skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency in CNC programming to ensure quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation

- Set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Load and secure raw materials and fixtures on the machine.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and tool holders.

CNC Programming

- Prepare, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM/CAD or machine control (G-code).
- Test and prove out new programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Adjust machine parameters for optimal feeds, speeds, and cutting conditions.

Quality & Inspection

- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; standards.
- Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality specifications before release.

Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines.




- Troubleshoot machine issues and correct program errors to maintain production flow.

Safety & Documentation

- Adhere to all health, safety, and machining standards.
- Maintain production logs, setup sheets, and program backups.

Qualifications & Skills

✔ Essential

- Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or CNC Machining.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, etc.) and G-code.
- Proficient in operating both turning and milling CNC machines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

✔ Desirable

- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit, etc.).
- Ability to optimize programs for improved cycle times.
- Knowledge of machine tool maintenance and tooling technology.
