Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams (50–150+ engineers through managers)

- Drive engineering strategy aligned with company product roadmap

- Build a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, ownership, and excellence

- Manage Engineering Managers, Architects, and Principal Engineers

Technical Strategy & Architecture

- Drive architecture decisions for cloud-native SaaS platforms

- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of systems

- Guide modernization initiatives, platform evolution, and technical debt reduction

- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and DevOps teams

Delivery & Execution

- Own engineering delivery, roadmap execution, and release planning

- Ensure predictable delivery, high quality, and operational excellence

- Implement best practices in SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies

Stakeholder Management

- Partner with global product leadership, business stakeholders, and customers





- Provide executive-level reporting on engineering metrics and delivery

- Participate in strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives

Operational Excellence

- Establish engineering KPIs, metrics, and performance frameworks

- Drive automation, observability, and reliability engineering practices

- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

- 15+ years of engineering experience in product-based companies

- 5+ years in engineering leadership roles managing managers

- Proven experience leading large distributed engineering teams

- Strong background in SaaS product engineering

Technical Expertise

- Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

- Microservices architecture

- Enterprise SaaS platform development

- Distributed systems

- DevOps, CI/CD, automation

Leadership Skills

- Experience scaling global engineering teams

- Robust stakeholder and executive communication skills
