Job Description – Medical Superintendent

Position: Medical Superintendent
Location: Gulabi Bagh, Delhi
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the overall clinical and administrative operations of the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, and hospital policies.
- Supervise medical, nursing, and allied healthcare teams to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Monitor quality indicators, patient safety initiatives, infection control, and clinical audits.
- Coordinate with all departments for smooth hospital operations.
- Manage medico-legal cases and ensure accurate medical documentation.
- Develop and implement hospital policies, SOPs, and clinical protocols.
- Oversee doctor credentialing, duty rosters, and performance management.
- Address patient grievances and drive patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Lead accreditation, quality improvement,



and regulatory compliance activities.

Qualification:

- Essential: MBBS
- Preferred: MD/MS or MBA in Hospital Administration/Healthcare Management (or equivalent).

Experience:

- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in hospital administration, preferably in a Medical Superintendent or similar leadership role.

Skills Required:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Sound knowledge of NABH standards and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid organizational and operational management skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
