We are seeking a proactive and customer focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our onsite IT team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in desktop support, with basic knowledge of Audio Visual (AV) systems. This role involves providing day-to-day technical support to end users, ensuring smooth functioning of desktop, laptop, and AV equipment, and collaborating with other IT teams for issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops and printers (Windows and basic MacOS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain IT equipment including AV devices (displays, conference systems).
- Provide basic AV support for meeting rooms (Microsoft Teams).
- Coordinate with remote teams and vendors for escalations or repairs.
- Maintain inventory and update asset tracking systems.
- Document solutions, maintain logs, and contribute to knowledge base articles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT desktop support (onsite).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows OS and common applications.
- Basic knowledge of Audio Visual technologies and meeting room equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and support new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting IT in a corporate or professional services workplace.
- Exposure to ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
