Role Description The Purchase Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patparganj Industrial Area. The Purchase Officer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments. Daily responsibilities include sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing and terms,



and ensuring timely delivery of materials and books required for publishing and distribution operations. The role also involves maintaining accurate purchase records, monitoring inventory levels, and analyzing purchasing data to support cost efficiency and quality standards. The Purchase Officer will collaborate closely with finance, warehousing, and editorial teams to ensure smooth procurement workflows and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including end-to-end procurement workflows of large data in Excel.
- Candidates should possess skills in handling purchase orders and purchase requisitions, with accuracy in documentation and tracking.
- Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing in publishing, distribution, or related publishing industries is beneficial.
- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Billing Software (spring time) management systems are preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a background in publishing.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
