- Run the monthly, quarterly, and annual close — reconciliations, provisions, and management reporting.
- Handle inter-company transactions, cost allocations, and consolidation across group entities.
- Oversee accounts payable / receivable, billing, and collections.
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure timely, accurate compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other obligations.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors; support statutory and internal audits.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and assess their impact.

Financial Modelling & Analysis

- Build and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and cash flow.
- Develop integrated financial models (P&L;, cash flow, DSCR / IRR) that stand up to bank and investor scrutiny.
- Prepare revenue, cost, and profitability analyses across verticals and cost centres.
- Support commercial decisions — retainer structures, revenue splits, pricing, headcount — with modelling.
- Track actuals vs budget, flag variances, and give leadership clear, decision-ready commentary.

Project Finance & Fund-Raising

- Build bank-fundable Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and financial models for new and expanding ventures — capex, means of finance, DSCR, project and equity IRR.
- Structure and support debt fund-raising: term loans, working capital limits, and one-time settlements (OTS) — prepare lender-ready packs and defend the numbers to banks and financial institutions.
- Manage banking relationships across the group; track facilities, covenants, drawdowns, and repayment obligations.

- Assess funding gaps and near-term cash obligations across entities and flag them early.

M&A;, Transactions & Due Diligence

- Support acquisitions, buyouts, and asset sales — read and decode transaction documents (MOUs, term sheets, shareholder agreements) and surface commercial and structural risks.
- Build and run due-diligence trackers; reconcile deal structures against funding, valuation, and cash flows.
- Model deal scenarios, returns, and downside cases to support go / no-go and negotiation.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, and banking advisors through to close.

Investments & Property Portfolio

- Maintain and analyse the group's investment and property portfolio — net equity, LTV, cash yields, and monthly cash-flow position.
- Track holdings, valuations, encumbrances, and financing across assets.
- Prepare investment appraisals and periodic portfolio reviews to support capital-allocation decisions.

Cost Tracking & Business Support

- Own cost tracking and cost allocation across verticals / cost centres.
- Maintain headcount-linked financials with HR / operations.
- Turn financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate, timely MIS and dashboards that support decision-making.

AI & Technology

- Use AI and automation to streamline reconciliations, reporting, and routine workflows.
- Find ways to cut manual effort and improve accuracy through better tooling.

- Work confidently in advanced Excel / Sheets, accounting software, and BI / dashboarding tools.

Systems & Data Governance

- Work hands-on with our accounting / practice-management software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Uphold confidentiality and DPDP Act 2023 obligations around sensitive commercial and partner data.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Business, or equivalent (CA / CA-Inter / MBA-Finance / CMA a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in qualified services, consulting, or a multi-entity setup.
- A proven track record in financial modelling and analysis — this is not a data-entry or basic bookkeeping role.
- Hands-on experience building bank-fundable DPRs / project finance models (means of finance, DSCR, IRR) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to M&A;, buyouts, or asset transactions — reading deal documents and running due diligence — is a strong plus.
- Experience managing banking relationships and debt fund-raising (term loans, working capital, OTS).
- Comfort with investment appraisal and property / portfolio financial analysis.
- Strong grounding in Indian statutory compliance (GST, TDS, income tax).
- Exposure to inter-company / multi-entity accounting and consolidation is a strong plus.
- Strong business and commercial acumen — you understand what drives the numbers.
- Genuine comfort with AI tools and an appetite to work smarter with technology.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting to leadership and non-finance audiences.
- High standards of accuracy, ownership, discretion, and confidentiality.
