Job Summary

The Textile Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a textile retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and maximizing store profitability. The role requires strong leadership, retail management skills, and knowledge of textile and apparel products.

Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the textile store.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor store opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and operational standards.

Sales & Customer Service

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Promote products, offers, and loyalty programs to customers.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.

Inventory Management

- Oversee stock receiving, storage, and replenishment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and stock verification.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving inventory.
- Minimize stock losses, damages, and shrinkage.

Team Management

- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store employees.
- Prepare staff schedules and allocate duties.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Visual Merchandising





- Ensure attractive product displays and merchandising standards.
- Coordinate seasonal promotions and special displays.
- Monitor product presentation to enhance customer experience.

Financial Management

- Monitor daily cash handling and billing operations.
- Prepare sales reports and analyze store performance.
- Control operating expenses and improve profitability.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in retail management, preferably in textiles, apparel, or fashion retail.
- Solid knowledge of textile products, fabrics, garments, and retail operations.
- Experience in inventory control and sales management.
