Job description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly specialized Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering Instructor to join our international academic team delivering UK and Australian qualifications in India.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of recent industry experience (within the last 5 years) and possess deep expertise spanning aircraft structures, aerodynamics, flight systems, and propulsion.
You will deliver applied, industry-aligned, and simulation-driven engineering education, with a strong emphasis on CAE-based analysis and optimisation using ANSYS Workbench and related aerospace tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Aerospace Instruction: Deliver theoretical, practical, and simulation-based sessions aligned with UK/Australian qualification frameworks focusing on aerospace and aeronautical engineering.
Curriculum Development: Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, laboratory manuals, and teaching resources aligned with Pearson BTEC and Ofqual frameworks.
Assessment & Evaluation: Design, administer, and assess assignments, aerospace design projects, and competency-based assessments. Conduct grading, feedback, and academic moderation to British/Australian standards.
Simulation & Applied Learning: Mentor students in hands-on and simulation-led projects, translating industry-level design validation, CFD/FEA simulation, and optimisation workflows into effective project-based learning.
Industry Integration: Integrate aviation regulations, real-world aerospace case studies, and performance benchmarks into teaching delivery.
International Academic Team | UK & Australian Qualifications
Requirements: Core Technical Knowledge & Tools
Aerospace Engineering:
Aerodynamics & Structures: Lift, drag, airfoil behavior, CFD analysis, structural behavior, stress/deformation analysis,
and airframe components.
Flight & Space Systems: Flight control systems, avionics, spacecraft systems fundamentals, and space mission design.
Propulsion:
Turbofans, turbojets, and related aerospace propulsion mechanisms.
CAE, Simulation & Design
CAE & Simulation: Structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis (FEA & CFD) specifically tailored to aerospace applications.
Engineering Tools: High proficiency in ANSYS Workbench (Structural, Thermal, Fluent).
CAD & Design: 3D modelling, assemblies, and tolerance analysis using CATIA or SolidWorks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Master's Degree (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering,
Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related field.
Industry Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of recent skilled industry experience within the aerospace sector.
Project Experience: Highly desirable to have worked on projects in centrally funded institutions, or possess endorsed projects from government aviation bodies or private MNCs.
Background: Prior teaching/instructional experience with international curricula (e.g., Pearson BTEC) is preferred, but candidates with a strong, exclusive aerospace industry background will be heavily considered.
MANDATORY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
To apply for this position, it is mandatory to submit your application via email to the respective hiring log/email address. Your application submission MUST include:
Your updated Resume/CV.
Details of your Research Work.
Proof of Work / Hands-on Prototypes: Hyperlinks or verifiable documentation showcasing state-of-the-art industry projects, CAD designs, or prototype development you have personally executed in the aerospace/aeronautical domain.
Applications lacking technical portfolios, proof of practical work, or research documentation will not be considered.
