Job Summary:

The Production & Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations while maintaining product quality as per company standards. The role involves monitoring processes, reducing defects, and ensuring timely production output.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Responsibilities:

- Monitor daily production activities and ensure targets are achieved
- Operate and supervise machines/process lines
- Maintain production records and reports
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and materials
- Follow safety guidelines and SOPs
- Minimize downtime and improve productivity

Quality Responsibilities:

- Perform in-process and final inspection of products
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions
- Maintain quality records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
- Support audits and quality checks




- Use measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, etc.

Required Skills:

- Basic knowledge of production processes
- Understanding of quality tools (7 QC Tools preferred)
- Knowledge of drawings and measurements
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork

Qualification:

- B.Sc or Diploma in Chemistry
- ITI candidates with relevant experience can also apply

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience in manufacturing industry
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC/Assembly line (if applicable)
- Awareness of safety and quality standards
