Arvind Corrotech Limited is a leading supplier of Turnkey Galvanizing Plants worldwide. We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer to handle process panel design, field wiring, site installation, commissioning, and after sales support for our turnkey galvanizing plant projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge of PLC-based automation panels combined with willingness to travel to client sites within India and abroad including for breakdown support.

Key Responsibilities

Panel Design & Engineering

- Design and develop process control panels (PLC-based) as per plant process requirements
- Prepare/review electrical drawings, power circuits, control circuits, wiring schematics, panel GA drawings
- Select appropriate electrical components (PLCs, drives, contactors, relays, sensors, cabling) based on process needs
- Coordinate with panel fabrication/vendor for build quality and specification compliance

Field Wiring & Installation

- Execute field wiring between control panels, instruments, motors, drives, and other electrical components
- Supervise and carry out site electrical installation as per drawings and standards
- Ensure proper cabling, termination, earthing, and panel-to-field connectivity

Commissioning

- Commission PLC based automation systems and electrical panels at client sites
- Test and troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, and instrumentation loops
- Conduct loop checks, functional testing, and system trials before plant handover
- Fine-tune PLC programs/parameters on site as needed for smooth plant operation

After-Sales & Breakdown Support

- Attend to client breakdown calls at site (domestic and international) promptly
- Diagnose and resolve electrical/automation faults to minimize plant downtime
- Provide online/remote support and troubleshooting for client plants
- Maintain service records and prepare breakdown/service reports

Travel & Site Management

- Travel (mandatory)



to project and client sites within India and overseas
- Work independently at site with minimal supervision
- Coordinate with site team/client engineers for smooth execution

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
- Experience: 3–8 years in process panel design, industrial automation, or plant electrical installation & commissioning
- Experience in process plants, industrial process plants, or similar capital equipment industry preferred

Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of PLC based process panels and automation systems (Siemens/Schnider or similar)
- Sound understanding of field wiring practices, motors, VFDs/drives, sensors, instruments
- Ability to read and prepare electrical drawings (SLD, control schematics, panel GA)
- Hands-on experience in site installation, loop checking, and commissioning
- Troubleshooting skills for electrical faults and automation issues
- Basic PLC/HMI programming knowledge (ladder logic) is a strong plus
- Willingness and ability to travel, including short-notice breakdown visits, domestic and international
- Valid passport (or willingness to obtain one); flexibility for overseas assignments

Preferred

- Prior experience specifically with process plants or similar heavy industrial process equipment
- Exposure to VFD/drive configuration and motor control systems
- Experience providing remote/online technical support to clients
