About the Role

We are looking for an experienced **Purchase Manager** with a strong background in **MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects** to manage procurement operations, vendor coordination, and cost optimization. The role involves working closely with project and engineering teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement for ongoing projects.

*Key Responsibilities**

*Procurement & Vendor Management**

* Handle end-to-end procurement of MEP materials (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting)

* Float enquiries, obtain quotations, and prepare comparative statements

* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors

* Identify and onboard new vendors and maintain strong vendor relationships

*Purchase Operations**

* Prepare and release purchase orders and work orders

* Ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements

* Track orders, deliveries, and resolve supply-related issues

*Cost Control & Optimization**

* Ensure procurement within approved budgets

* Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation and sourcing strategies

* Monitor market trends and pricing for key materials

*Coordination & Stakeholder Management**

* Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams for material requirements

* Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth execution

* Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures

*Required Skills & Experience**

* 8+ years of experience in **procurement / purchase (MEP / EPC projects)**

* Solid knowledge of **MEP materials and vendor ecosystem**

* Proven experience in **vendor negotiation and procurement planning**

* Basic understanding of **contracts, BOQ, and technical specifications**

* Positive communication and coordination skills

*Preferred Qualifications**

* Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering

* Experience in real estate, EPC, or contracting companies preferred
