About Fix-it Café:
Fix-it Cafe is a 24-week practical repair and engineering program for young people in Grades 6 to 10 across government schools. The program teaches electrical, plumbing, mechanical and AI-guided repair skills. It is delivered in schools by a dedicated Fix-it Cafe field team reporting to the CEO.
Role Overview:
We are seeking candidates skilled in Mechanical Engineering, Digital-Technology,
Plumbing and Electrical to teach students from Grade 6 to 10 in government schools.
You must be able to read and understand wiring diagram and circuit layouts, have knowledge of household electrical appliances (motors, switch boards, controller, lighting unit) and basic knowledge of PCB boards and electronics components. You will teach students to practice safe handling of electricity and have the ability to repair, replace and test faulty components and explain electrical in a easy way to kids.
Skills required - Understanding basic electrical circuits, can fix day to day life products, repair/ replace / test.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
