JD: We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with 2–3 years of hands on experience in mechanical product design and development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies, creating manufacturing drawings, supporting prototype development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and sheet metal parts.
- Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on engineering and customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation. Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, and R&D; teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and validation activities.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA).
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on product requirements.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues during manufacturing and product assembly.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
Experience in designing:
o Sheet Metal Components
o Plastic Parts
o Machined Components
Knowledge of GD &T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including:
o Welding o grinding
o Cutting Knowledge of tolerance analysis and material selection.
Experience in prototype development and product validation.
Software Skills SolidWorks AutoCAD
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation.
Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems.
Understanding of ISO standards and engineering documentation.
Experience in prototype development, testing, and validation.
Basic understanding of electrical integration in mechanical assemblies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
