Position OverviewQA Tester (Intern)

This role is designed for candidates with foundational software testing experience who are looking to build a career in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.

You will work closely with project managers, developers, designers, and clients to ensure applications meet functional, usability, and performance expectations before release.

This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world web and mobile application testing projects across multiple industries.

What You Will OwnFunctional Testing

- Verify application functionality against requirements
- Test newly developed features and enhancements
- Validate user workflows and business logic
- Ensure feature completeness before release

Bug Reporting

- Identify, document, and report defects
- Reproduce issues consistently
- Track bug lifecycle and retesting activities
- Verify bug fixes before closure

Regression Testing

- Execute regression test cycles




- Ensure new releases do not impact existing functionality
- Validate critical business workflows

Documentation

- Create and maintain test cases
- Prepare testing reports and summaries
- Document defects with proper evidence
- Maintain QA documentation standards

Release Validation

- Perform pre-release testing
- Validate production deployments
- Ensure release readiness and quality compliance

Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Testing

- Test web applications, mobile applications, and software platforms
- Validate business requirements and user journeys
- Verify UI/UX consistency across devices and browsers
- Ensure application functionality aligns with specifications

Defect Management

- Log defects using project management tools
- Prioritize issues based on severity and impact
- Work closely with developers during bug resolution
- Validate resolved defects through retesting

Quality Assurance Activities

- Execute test plans and test cases
- Perform smoke testing and regression testing
- Conduct exploratory testing
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities

Collaboration

- Participate in project discussions and sprint reviews
- Communicate testing findings effectively
- Coordinate with project managers and development teams
- Contribute to continuous quality improvements
