Position: Java + Rest Assured + Selenium Engineer
Overview:
Talent Worx is seeking a skilled Java + Rest Assured + Selenium Engineer to enhance our automation testing efforts. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java programming, Rest Assured for API testing, and Selenium for UI testing to develop robust automated test scripts. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using
Java
with
Rest Assured
for API testing and
Selenium
for web application testing.
Develop and implement testing strategies that encompass functional, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and document defects in a test management system.
Participate in code reviews, offering insights and recommendations for improving test automation frameworks.
Identify areas for improvement in current automation practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay current with emerging testing tools and technologies to enhance the automation framework.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on
Java
,
Rest Assured
, and
Selenium
.
Proven experience in developing automated test cases for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured.
Solid understanding of web application testing methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as
TestNG
or
JUnit
.
Experience with version control systems like
Git
.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
