We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Hardware Engineer with robust expertise in
EC200U, LoRa, firmware/driver integration, and IoT systems
. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying embedded hardware solutions for connected devices. This role requires a blend of hands-on hardware design, system-level integration, and close collaboration with software and firmware teams to ensure seamless operation of IoT-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Embedded Hardware Design & Development
Design and develop embedded hardware systems and modules based on EC200U, LoRa, and other communication protocols.
Perform schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection for reliable IoT device operation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, certification requirements, and power optimization for low-power IoT applications.
Firmware/Driver Integration
Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate drivers for peripherals, sensors, and communication modules.
Debug and optimize firmware-hardware interactions to achieve high performance, stability, and scalability.
Provide support in bootloader development, device bring-up, and system validation.
IoT System Integration
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT modules into larger system architectures.
Ensure connectivity, interoperability, and data flow across IoT devices, gateways, and cloud platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues impacting system-level performance.
Testing & Validation
Develop and execute test plans for hardware prototypes, pre-production units,
and final devices.
Conduct root-cause analysis for failures, implement corrective actions, and improve system reliability.
Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to support certification and regulatory approvals.
Documentation & Collaboration
Create and maintain hardware design documentation, technical specifications, and integration guidelines.
Work closely with product management, R&D;, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
5–8 years of hands-on experience in
embedded hardware design and development
.
Strong expertise in
EC200U modules, LoRa technology, and IoT device integration
.
Proficiency in
firmware/driver integration
and troubleshooting hardware-software interactions.
Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad).
Solid understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, wireless protocols (LoRa, LTE, NB-IoT, BLE, Wi-Fi), and power management techniques.
Familiarity with hardware validation, signal integrity, EMC/EMI compliance, and certification processes.
Solid debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
IoT cloud platforms
(AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT, etc.).
Exposure to edge computing and security aspects of IoT devices.
Prior experience in mass production and hardware lifecycle management.
