We are seeking an experienced
Windchill Administrator
to manage, configure, and support our
Windchill PLM environment
. In this role, you will ensure the seamless functioning of the platform, drive improvements in system performance, and support integration with other enterprise applications. You will work closely with engineering, IT, and product teams to design, maintain, and optimize PLM solutions that align with business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
PTC Windchill
(mandatory) and exposure to other PLM systems such as
Siemens Teamcenter, ARAS PLM, Dassault Systèmes products, and Oracle Agile PLM
.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration:
Manage day-to-day operations of the
Windchill PLM
system, including configuration, monitoring, and user administration.
Configuration & Customization:
Configure workflows, lifecycles, roles, and access permissions to support business requirements.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve issues related to
Windchill servers, user access, integrations, and performance bottlenecks
.
Upgrades & Patches:
Plan, test, and implement system upgrades, patches, and service packs to ensure platform reliability.
Integration Support:
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with CAD, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
Data Management:
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance through structured PLM processes.
Process Optimization:
Work with business stakeholders to design and implement productive
business processes, workflows, and mappings




within Windchill.
Documentation & Training:
Develop system documentation, create knowledge base articles, and train end-users on system functionalities.
Estimation & Planning:
Provide input for project estimation, system enhancements, and future scalability planning.
Innovation & Emerging Tech:
Explore and support the integration of new technologies like
AR/VR/MR
into PLM workflows.
Key Skills & Expertise
Mandatory Expertise:
Strong, hands-on experience with
PTC Windchill PLM
(administration, configuration, and troubleshooting).
PLM Systems Knowledge:
Familiarity with other PLM platforms such as:
Siemens Teamcenter
ARAS PLM
Dassault Systèmes products
Oracle Agile PLM
Business Process Skills:
Experience in
business process design, mapping, and workflow management
.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in system estimation, integration planning, and data migration techniques.
Emerging Technologies:
Exposure to
AR/VR/MR
applications in engineering and product lifecycle management.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
, or a related discipline.
5+ years of professional experience
as a Windchill Administrator or in a similar PLM system administration role.
Demonstrated experience in managing
enterprise-scale PLM implementations
and supporting engineering/manufacturing teams.
Strong understanding of
product data management, version control, and change management
processes.
