Job Summary:
Sihamco based in Riyadh - Saudi Arabia, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations, and supporting financial reporting and audits. Previous experience in the F&B; or restaurant and hotel industry is preferred.
Relocation + Accommodation + yearly flights back home are provided for the main applicant only.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile financial discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor and record fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization schedules.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist in VAT and other tax filings in compliance with Saudi regulations.
Support internal and external audits with appropriate documentation.
Ensure compliance with ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) requirements.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Coordinate with other departments for financial data and reporting.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Skilled certification (CPA, SOCPA, CMA) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Quickbooks and Oracle
Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
