We are looking for an experienced
CAD Specialist
with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in creating and managing
3D models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
for mechanical and structural components. The role involves translating conceptual designs into manufacturable models while ensuring precision, compliance with engineering standards, and design for manufacturability. Prior experience in
automotive, aerospace, industrial product, or tooling/jig design
is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed
3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
for mechanical components, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
Prepare and maintain
Bills of Materials (BOM)
aligned with project and production requirements.
Ensure designs comply with
GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
and engineering standards.
Work on
joint and connection designs
to ensure strength, durability, and manufacturability.




Provide
CAD support
during prototyping, testing, and validation phases.
Maintain
design documentation, version control, and revision history
in accordance with quality and compliance standards.
Prerequisites
Strong understanding of
mechanical design principles
, GD&T;, tolerance analysis, and joint design.
Familiarity with
materials, manufacturing methods, and product design cycles
.
Experience with
composite material-based product design
is an advantage.
Proficiency in at least one major
3D CAD software
: CATIA, PTC Creo, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, NX, or AutoCAD.
Skilled in creating
2D engineering drawings
with precise dimensioning.
Robust
visualization, analytical, and problem-solving
abilities.
Excellent
communication and collaboration
skills to work effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Preferred Software Expertise:
CATIA V5 | PTC Creo | SolidWorks | Autodesk Inventor
