Position: Adabas DBA / Mainframe DBA

We are currently seeking a qualified Adabas DBA / Mainframe DBA to join our esteemed team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of mainframe technologies and the ability to maintain the performance, security, and integrity of our Adabas databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and administer Adabas database systems in a mainframe environment.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Perform database backups, recovery operations, and disaster recovery planning.
Implement security protocols to safeguard data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance and support application needs.
Document database configurations, processes, and maintenance activities for compliance and reference.
Provide technical support and expertise regarding Adabas and mainframe systems.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Adabas DBA or Mainframe DBA, with a strong understanding of mainframe technologies.




In-depth knowledge of Adabas database architecture and administrative functions.
Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a mainframe setting.
Familiarity with relevant programming languages and tools related to database management.
Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication abilities, with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in database administration are a considerable advantage.
