Role Alignment with Business Plan: The Quality Assurance Engineer is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software within the Infor Data Services team. By meticulously testing and validating products throughout the software development lifecycle, this role supports our business plan to deliver reliable, bug-free solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and trust in our data management platforms.

Position Summary: As a member of the Infor Data Services team, the Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the functional testing process from the initial phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure that the final product is delivered without major issues. This role requires close coordination with development teams, taking ownership of identifying and resolving high-priority bugs, and crafting well-structured test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Essential Duties:

- Engage in the testing process from the initial phase of the SDLC, focusing on functional testing aspects.
- Perform comprehensive feature and regression testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Coordinate with the development team to ensure the final product is delivered without major bugs.
- Take individual responsibility for raising high-priority bugs and ensure their resolution.
- Design and implement automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and frameworks.
- Generate and present summary reports after each sprint.
- Develop and execute detailed,



well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure complete test coverage and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with customer and client-facing teams to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Understand and take full ownership of the project to ensure quality assurance standards are met.

Basic Qualifications:

- 4-5 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on functional testing, including feature and regression testing.
- Strong expertise in manual and automation testing processes.
- Proven ability to design and implement well-structured, high-quality test cases.
- Proficient in SQL, with strong knowledge of databases, schemas, and ERDs.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Experience in coordinating with development and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report and discuss testing outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- ISTQB certification.
