We're looking for a draftsman to join our office. The detailer will have the opportunity to work on complex projects across the country. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD and have experience working on statutory and non-statutory urban planning projects. The role will require the person to work closely with urban planners and the planning team to create accurate technical drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare base maps using revenue records, total station surveys, and interpretation of satellite images.
- Prepare thematic and statutory drawings using AutoCAD/ Civil 3D/ ArcGIS software.
- Prepare relevant drawings for Development Plans and Town Planning Schemes.
- Work on a variety of tasks related to detailing drawings through various stages of projects.
- Ensure neatness, accuracy, and timelines for the assigned work.
Education:
- ITI/ Diploma Civil Draughtsman or Certification in AutoCAD
Experience:
- Years: 0 to 5 years
- Industry: Urban Planning
Skills (Mandatory):
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of ArcGIS
- Deep understanding of urban planning specifications
- Ability to work in a collaborative workplace
- Time and priority management
- Ability to detail drawings with precision and clarity
Skills (Preferred):
- Ability to work with software such as Civil 3D
- Problem-solving skills
